- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes or 1 fresh chili, chopped
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Boil the eggs by filling a pot with water and bringing it to a gentle boil. Carefully add the eggs and cook for 6–7 minutes. Transfer the eggs to an ice bath.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the chili flakes. Stir for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
- In a bowl, mix yogurt with minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Gently crack and peel the eggs under cool running water.
- Slice the eggs in half, drizzle with chili butter, add dollops of garlic yogurt, and sprinkle with fresh herbs.
- Serve immediately with crusty bread or toast.
Notes
Adjust the spice level of the chili butter according to your taste. Fresh herbs add a nice touch to the dish.
