Description

A flavorful dish featuring sautéed mushrooms marinated in a tangy garlic and herb dressing, perfect for family gatherings or quick snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Fresh mushrooms (button, cremini, or portobello)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar (red wine, balsamic, or apple cider)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (thyme, parsley, or rosemary)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Clean the mushrooms gently with a damp cloth.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, add the mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and herbs for the last minute of cooking.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together vinegar, additional olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer the sautéed mushrooms into the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
  6. Serve warm or chilled as a side dish or snack.

Notes

To enhance flavor, let the mushrooms marinate overnight. Pair them with grilled meats or salads for a delightful experience.
