Delicious Twix Thumbprint Cookies with a buttery base, filled with chocolate and caramel, perfect for sharing and creating sweet memories.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart. Use your thumb to make an indention in the center of each ball.
- Bake for around 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are pale golden.
- Immediately press a few chocolate chips into each thumbprint, followed by a drizzle of caramel sauce. Return to the oven for another 2 minutes to melt the chocolate.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Experiment with substitutions like coconut oil instead of butter for a dairy-free option or use dark chocolate for a unique flavor.
