- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- A pinch of salt
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup cold unsalted butter, diced
- 1 cup pure pumpkin puree
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2–3 tablespoons pure maple syrup (for glaze)

- For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over cooled scones and enjoy!
Notes
For a healthier option, consider using whole wheat flour or a gluten-free blend. Allow the dough to rest briefly before baking for best results.
