Description

Delightful chocolate-dipped truffles made with Oreo cookies and a hint of peppermint, perfect for the holiday season.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz semi-sweet or white chocolate, for coating
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos in a food processor or zip-top bag until fine crumbs.
  2. Combine Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese until a cohesive dough forms.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll the chilled mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Melt the chocolate coating in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off before returning to the tray.
  7. Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top while the chocolate is still wet.
  8. Chill until the chocolate is firm.
