- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)

- Roll Out the Dough: Roll one disc to ⅛-inch thickness and cut into circles.
- Assemble the Pies: Spoon filling into the center of each circle, moisten edges with water, fold, and crimp to seal.
- Final Touches: Place pies on a baking sheet, brush with egg wash or milk, and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
Keep ingredients cold to ensure a flaky crust. For variety, try adding lemon zest or fresh herbs to the filling.
