Ingredients

- 1 cup dark, milk, or white chocolate
- 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans (or almonds for nut-free)
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp butter or coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate with the butter or coconut oil over low heat until smooth and remove from heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted chocolate with nuts, shredded coconut, vanilla extract, and honey/maple syrup; mix well.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- Once firm, roll small spoonfuls into balls and shape them into pinecone shapes.
- Roll the shaped truffles in additional shredded coconut for a pinecone appearance.
- Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and chill for at least another hour until set.
