Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or pre-cooked lobster meat
  • 2 slices sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices Gruyère cheese
  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep the Lobster: If using fresh lobster, steam until opaque, cool, and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Flavor the Butter: Mix softened butter with minced garlic.
  3. Assemble the Sandwich: On two slices of bread, spread garlic butter, layer cheese, lobster, another slice of cheese, and top with the second piece of bread.
  4. Grill: Preheat a skillet, add oil if desired, then grill the sandwich until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Serve: Remove from skillet, let rest briefly, slice in half, and serve hot with pickles or soup.

Notes
