Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg into the mixture and incorporate well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the butter-sugar mixture.
- Fold in your chosen mix-ins such as chocolate chips, nuts, and dried fruits.
- Scoop generous portions of dough onto the lined baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown and center is soft.
- Allow to cool on the sheets briefly before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
