- 1 head of Romaine Lettuce, chopped
- 200g Salami, sliced
- 100g Ham or Turkey, sliced
- 150g Provolone Cheese, cubed
- 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup Pepperoncini Peppers, sliced
- 1/2 cup Black Olives, sliced
- Fresh Basil and Parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and chop the Romaine Lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large bowl.
- Slice the salami, ham, and cherry tomatoes, then add them to the bowl with the lettuce.
- Cube the provolone cheese and slice the pepperoncini, tossing these into the salad.
- Add the sliced black olives and finely chopped fresh herbs; mix gently to combine.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil and red wine vinegar with salt and pepper to taste. Pour over the salad and toss until well coated.
- Let the salad sit for about 10 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
Notes
For a vegetarian twist, consider adding chickpeas or tofu instead of meat. Drape extra dressing on the side for guests to adjust their portions.
