  • 1 (3.9 oz) box chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 (15.25 oz) box yellow cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish
  • Optional: chopped nuts, chocolate syrup, or coconut flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Peel and slice the bananas into even rounds and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine chocolate pudding mix and milk; whisk until thickened.
  4. Layer the sliced bananas at the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Pour the prepared chocolate pudding over the bananas.
  6. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix on top without mixing.
  7. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  9. Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving; top with whipped cream and optional toppings.
