Description

Delightful cheesecake balls wrapped in a crispy coating and infused with the sweet flavor of cotton candy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cotton candy (various flavors)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers or cookie crumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. Fold in the crushed cotton candy.
  2. Using a small cookie scoop, portion the filling into balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter with crushed cookie crumbs.
  4. Roll each chilled cheesecake ball in the cookie crumb mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Carefully add the coated cheesecake bombs and fry until golden brown, about two minutes per side.
  6. Remove and drain on a paper towel. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Ensure the oil is at the right temperature for maximum crispiness and don’t skip the chilling step to maintain shape.
