Ingredients
- Fresh or frozen cheese tortellini
- Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- Marinara sauce
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Shredded provolone cheese
- Pepperoni slices
- Fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Spread a generous amount of marinara sauce evenly over the crust, leaving space around the edges.
- Scatter the cheese tortellini over the pizza base. If using frozen tortellini, boil them first according to package instructions.
- Layer shredded mozzarella and provolone over the top, followed by pepperoni slices.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Sprinkle fresh basil on top before slicing and serving hot.
Notes
To avoid a soggy bottom, par-bake the crust for about 5 minutes before adding sauce and toppings.
