- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
- 1 tbsp milk (for egg wash, optional)
- Powdered sugar (for glaze)
- Milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Stir in blueberries gently.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate the triangles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Place a generous spoonful of the blueberry cream cheese mixture at the wider end of each triangle and roll it towards the point, tucking it in slightly.
- If using, whisk together an egg and milk, then brush it over the tops of the rolls.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar with a splash of milk to create a glaze and drizzle it over the warm rolls.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
For additional flavor, add a dash of cinnamon to the cream cheese filling. Be careful not to overfill the rolls to prevent spillage.
