Description

Delicious rolls filled with creamy blueberry cheesecake wrapped in flaky crescent dough. A perfect treat for family gatherings or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • Crescent dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
  • 1 tbsp milk (for egg wash, optional)
  • Powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • Milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Stir in blueberries gently.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate the triangles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Place a generous spoonful of the blueberry cream cheese mixture at the wider end of each triangle and roll it towards the point, tucking it in slightly.
  5. If using, whisk together an egg and milk, then brush it over the tops of the rolls.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Mix powdered sugar with a splash of milk to create a glaze and drizzle it over the warm rolls.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For additional flavor, add a dash of cinnamon to the cream cheese filling. Be careful not to overfill the rolls to prevent spillage.
