- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon

- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, followed by the apple cider, until the dough comes together.
- Scoop and shape the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are still soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
For even better flavor, consider chilling the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
