Delightful tree-shaped pastries made with flaky puff pastry, creamy burrata cheese, and a luscious cranberry glaze, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out puff pastry sheets to 1/8 inch thickness.
  3. Cut the pastry into tree shapes using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
  4. Whisk together one egg and water for the egg wash.
  5. Place pastry trees on a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and poke holes for steam.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffy.
  7. Heat cranberry sauce in a saucepan until warmed through.
  8. Remove pastries from the oven, cool slightly, and top with burrata.
  9. Drizzle warm cranberry glaze over the trees and garnish with fresh herbs.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute burrata with ricotta or a vegan cheese alternative. You can also use different fruit glazes if cranberries are not available.
