- 1 package puff pastry
- 8 oz burrata cheese
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out puff pastry sheets to 1/8 inch thickness.
- Cut the pastry into tree shapes using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
- Whisk together one egg and water for the egg wash.
- Place pastry trees on a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and poke holes for steam.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffy.
- Heat cranberry sauce in a saucepan until warmed through.
- Remove pastries from the oven, cool slightly, and top with burrata.
- Drizzle warm cranberry glaze over the trees and garnish with fresh herbs.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute burrata with ricotta or a vegan cheese alternative. You can also use different fruit glazes if cranberries are not available.
