- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup green onions, finely chopped
- Tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Break it apart with a spatula as it cooks for about 6-8 minutes, and drain any excess grease.
- Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Lower the heat and stir in the cream cheese until melted and smooth.
- Gradually mix in the cheddar cheese until fully melted and gooey.
- Stir in the chopped green onions just before serving.
- Transfer to a warm serving dish and serve with tortilla chips or veggies for dipping.
Notes
For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce or diced jalapeños. This dip can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen for three months.
