- 1 can classic crescent roll dough
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped (cremini or button)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- Fresh herbs (chives or parsley) for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out crescent roll dough onto a greased baking dish, pinching seams together.
- Sauté chopped mushrooms and minced garlic in olive oil for about 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the sautéed mushrooms over the crescent base, then add a layer of shredded cheese and pour the egg mixture over it.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the egg is set and the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
Customize with your favorite ingredients like bell peppers or sausage. Serve with hot sauce or salsa.
