Description

A delightful dish featuring tender salmon fillets coated in nutty toasted sesame seeds, enhanced with soy sauce and sesame oil, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Fresh Salmon Fillets
  • Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • Soy Sauce
  • Sesame Oil
  • Fresh Garlic
  • Fresh Ginger
  • Green Onions
  • Optional Vegetables (Broccoli, Snap Peas, Bell Peppers)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ginger. Marinate salmon for at least 15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  2. Heat the Pan: Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the Salmon: Remove excess marinade and place fillets skin-side down. Sear for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Add Sesame Seeds: Sprinkle sesame seeds over the salmon in the last minute, pressing down gently.
  5. Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions, and offer extra soy sauce on the side.

Notes

For a sweet finish, consider glazing the salmon with a pinch of honey during cooking.
