- 2 cups pulled pork
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 cup creamy cheddar cheese
- 1 cup smoked gouda cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the pulled pork if not using pre-cooked.
- Boil the pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat; sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Sprinkle flour, stirring for a few minutes until golden; gradually whisk in milk and cream until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted and creamy.
- Combine cooked pasta, pulled pork, and cheese sauce in a mixing bowl.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with reserved cheese, and bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes until bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute pulled pork with jackfruit or mushrooms. Add vegetables for extra nutrition.
