Description

A sweet and savory honey garlic salmon recipe that’s quick to prepare and a family favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Salmon Fillets
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (or Tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well until combined.
  2. Place salmon fillets in the marinade, coating each piece thoroughly. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Warm a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  4. Place the salmon skin-side down in the skillet. Sear for 5-6 minutes, then flip gently and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Spoon remaining marinade over the salmon in the last few minutes of cooking.
  6. Plate your salmon and drizzle any leftover sauce over it. Garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

For a twist, substitute honey with maple syrup or use trout instead of salmon.
