A sweet and savory honey garlic salmon recipe that’s quick to prepare and a family favorite.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Salmon Fillets
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (or Tamari for gluten-free)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well until combined.
- Place salmon fillets in the marinade, coating each piece thoroughly. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Warm a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
- Place the salmon skin-side down in the skillet. Sear for 5-6 minutes, then flip gently and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until cooked through.
- Spoon remaining marinade over the salmon in the last few minutes of cooking.
- Plate your salmon and drizzle any leftover sauce over it. Garnish with fresh herbs.
Notes
For a twist, substitute honey with maple syrup or use trout instead of salmon.
