Instructions

  1. Slice the onions into thin rings to ensure even frying.
  2. Soak the onion rings in cold water for 30 minutes.
  3. Drain and dry the onion rings with paper towels.
  4. Toss the dried onion rings in potato starch mixed with seasonings until evenly coated.
  5. Heat the oil in a deep skillet or fryer to about 350°F.
  6. Fry the onion rings in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Drain on paper towels and season with a sprinkle of salt while warm.
