Description
Delightful cookies featuring a rich, buttery dough, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and sweet salted caramel for a perfectly gooey treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, beat together room temperature butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, fully integrating each before adding the next.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, then gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips and salted caramel sauce.
- Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving enough space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden. Centers may look underbaked, which is perfect.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Chilling the dough for at least an hour before baking can help improve texture. Use room temperature ingredients for best results.
