Description

Delightful bite-sized cake balls inspired by the iconic Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes, coated in rich chocolate and perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Festive sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes in a large mixing bowl until finely crumbled.
  2. Add softened cream cheese to the crushed cakes and mix until a pliable dough forms.
  3. Scoop small portions and roll them into bite-sized balls (about 1 inch in diameter). Place on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in intervals, until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and return to the baking sheet.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles or crushed candy canes before the chocolate sets.
  8. Let the coated balls chill again in the refrigerator for an additional 15-30 minutes to set the chocolate.
  9. Serve on a festive platter and enjoy!

Notes

For a twist, substitute semi-sweet chocolate chips with white chocolate, or add crushed peppermint for a refreshing kick.
