Description

Delicious garlic mushrooms sautéed in herb-infused butter, perfect for your Valentine’s Day menu.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz mixed mushrooms (cremini, shiitake, and button)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or thyme)
  • 2 tbsp dry white wine (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by cleaning and slicing the mushrooms, mincing the garlic, and chopping the fresh herbs.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter until bubbly and fragrant.
  3. Add the mushrooms in a single layer and allow to cook for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
  4. Once the mushrooms start to brown, add the garlic and half of the herbs, stirring gently.
  5. If using white wine, pour it in and let it simmer for about a minute.
  6. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and the remaining herbs; cook for another minute until combined.
  7. Serve the garlic mushrooms as part of your Valentine’s Day menu.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute butter with olive oil or a vegan butter alternative.
