Delicious garlic mushrooms sautéed in herb-infused butter, perfect for your Valentine’s Day menu.

- 8 oz mixed mushrooms (cremini, shiitake, and button)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or thyme)
- 2 tbsp dry white wine (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by cleaning and slicing the mushrooms, mincing the garlic, and chopping the fresh herbs.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter until bubbly and fragrant.
- Add the mushrooms in a single layer and allow to cook for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
- Once the mushrooms start to brown, add the garlic and half of the herbs, stirring gently.
- If using white wine, pour it in and let it simmer for about a minute.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and the remaining herbs; cook for another minute until combined.
- Serve the garlic mushrooms as part of your Valentine’s Day menu.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute butter with olive oil or a vegan butter alternative.
