Instructions
- Bake the cake according to package instructions and allow it to cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
- Mix in the cream cheese frosting by hand until it holds together without being too sticky.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for about 60 minutes.
- Prepare the chocolate coating by melting it in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, tapping lightly to remove excess.
- Cool the cake pops upright in a styrofoam block or cake pop stand until the chocolate sets.
