- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Nutella
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and two tablespoons of sugar until fully combined. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased baking dish. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden and fragrant. Let it cool.
- Beat together softened cream cheese, remaining sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed. Carefully fold in the Nutella until fully incorporated.
- Pour the Nutella cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust. Spread it evenly and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for around 25-30 minutes until the edges are just set but the center remains slightly jiggly.
- Cool the bars inside the oven for about an hour, then transfer to the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight to achieve optimal firmness.
- Cut the cheesecake into bars, sprinkle with powdered sugar, or drizzle some melted Nutella on top for an extra touch!
Notes
For a unique twist, substitute mascarpone cheese for cream cheese or use crushed digestive biscuits instead of graham crackers.
