Description

Indulgent Nutella Cheesecake Bars with a buttery crust, perfect for family gatherings and cozy evenings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and two tablespoons of sugar until fully combined. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased baking dish. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden and fragrant. Let it cool.
  2. Beat together softened cream cheese, remaining sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed. Carefully fold in the Nutella until fully incorporated.
  3. Pour the Nutella cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust. Spread it evenly and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for around 25-30 minutes until the edges are just set but the center remains slightly jiggly.
  4. Cool the bars inside the oven for about an hour, then transfer to the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight to achieve optimal firmness.
  5. Cut the cheesecake into bars, sprinkle with powdered sugar, or drizzle some melted Nutella on top for an extra touch!

Notes

For a unique twist, substitute mascarpone cheese for cream cheese or use crushed digestive biscuits instead of graham crackers.
