A deliciously creamy and healthy chocolate mousse made with ripe avocados, cocoa powder, and natural sweeteners, perfect for guilt-free indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup or agave nectar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Slice the ripe avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh into a food processor.
  2. Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and sea salt to the processor.
  3. Blend the mixture on high until creamy and smooth, pausing to scrape down the sides as necessary.
  4. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness with more maple syrup or agave if desired.
  5. Transfer the mousse into serving bowls or ramekins.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with fresh berries or cacao nibs if desired.

Notes

For a richer flavor, substitute almond milk with cashew cream. For sweetness alternatives, use ripe bananas or date paste.
