Description

Delightful Crispy Taco Cups filled with savory ground beef, fresh salsa, and melted cheese, perfect for sharing at gatherings.


Ingredients

  • Flour or corn tortillas
  • Ground beef or turkey (or shredded chicken/beans for vegetarian)
  • Taco seasoning
  • Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • Chopped bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Sour cream or guacamole (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Press tortilla rounds into a muffin tin. Warm in the microwave if too stiff.
  3. Brush edges with olive oil and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  4. In a skillet, brown ground meat, then add onions, garlic, and seasoning.
  5. Spoon the meat mixture into each shell, topping with cheese and veggies.
  6. Return filled cups to the oven for 5-7 minutes, until cheese is melted.
  7. Serve warm with guacamole, salsa, and other toppings.
