- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- Sprinkles, edible flowers, or berries for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a mini cake pan to ensure an easy release.
- Cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla and milk.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. Gradually add to wet mixture, folding gently until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool before removing from pan.
- For the frosting, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar, adding milk or vanilla for consistency until smooth and creamy.
- Once the cake is cool, spread frosting generously on top and decorate as desired.
