- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme or parsley
- 1/4 cup white or red wine (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Gently wipe mushrooms with a damp cloth to clean.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add butter and olive oil.
- Add garlic and let it sizzle, being careful not to burn it.
- Toss in mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown, ensuring they don’t overcrowd the pan.
- If using, add wine to deglaze the pan and reduce slightly.
- Finish with fresh herbs, salt, and pepper. Serve immediately.
