Instructions

- Pour batter evenly into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Prepare frosting by creaming together softened butter and powdered sugar, adding vanilla and optional puree for flavor.
- Frost and decorate the cooled cakes as desired.
