Description

A creamy and fluffy dip made with ricotta cheese, honey, and fresh herbs, perfect for sharing with friends and family.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (basil, parsley, or thyme) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by bringing ricotta to room temperature for easier blending.
  2. In a food processor, combine ricotta, olive oil, honey, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Blend for 2-3 minutes until smooth and fluffy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Taste the dip and adjust sweetness or acidity with more honey or lemon juice if desired.
  4. Finely chop fresh herbs and stir them into the dip.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and garnish with additional herbs or sea salt. Serve with vegetables or bread.

Notes

For an even silkier texture, pass the ricotta through a fine-mesh sieve before blending.
