  • 4 Eggs

  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (for ganache)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour three round cake pans.
  3. Melt the dark and milk chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until fluffy.
  6. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla and melted chocolate.
  7. Gradually add the dry mixture, alternating with milk, and mix until just combined.
  8. Divide the batter evenly among the pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  10. For the ganache, heat heavy cream and pour over chopped white chocolate, letting it sit before stirring until smooth.
  11. Assemble the cake by layering with ganache and covering the top and sides.
  12. Decorate with sprinkles or fresh berries, if desired.
