Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the egg and extracts, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in M&Ms until evenly distributed.
- Scoop mounds of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden and centers are slightly underbaked.
- Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
