Ingredients

- 2 teaspoons black tea leaves (or 1 tea bag)
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup whole milk (or almond/oat/soy milk)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- Sugar or sweetener to taste
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Boil 2 cups of water in a saucepan, then add black tea and steep for 3-5 minutes.
- In another saucepan, gently heat 1 cup of milk and stir in vanilla extract.
- Strain the brewed tea into a mug or teapot, discarding the tea leaves.
- Add the warm milk, sugar, and a pinch of salt to the tea.
- Sprinkle in half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon and stir well. Optionally, garnish with a cinnamon stick.
- Enjoy your cozy tea with a moment to savor the aroma.
Notes
Taste as you go and adjust sweetness or milk levels to your preference. Add more cinnamon if you like it spicier!
