- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt your butter and half of the chocolate chips together until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla; whisk until glossy.
- Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the sugar and egg blend, stirring gently.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour and cocoa powder; fold into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the remaining chocolate chips.
- Scoop out spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but centers are soft.
- Cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a twist, swap half the butter for coconut oil. Try using non-dairy chocolate chips for a dairy-free version.
