- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 cups frozen French fries
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat oil and brown the ground beef with the diced onions and minced garlic. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Mix in the ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer half of the beef mixture, sprinkle with cheese, and add a layer of French fries. Repeat and finish with cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Feel free to swap ground beef for turkey or chicken. You can also replace French fries with tater tots or add mushrooms and bell peppers for extra flavor.
