Instructions

- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then add the buttermilk and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Add red food coloring and mix evenly.
- Gently fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Drop dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet and bang the sheet against the counter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
