Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto your prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, pulling them out slightly underbaked for a fudgy texture.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Optionally, sprinkle sea salt on top before baking for added flavor.

For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free all-purpose flour. For a vegan option, replace eggs with flaxseed meal.
