Ingredients

- 2 cans of yams, drained
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk or cream
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- Mini marshmallows or chopped pecans for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Open and drain the canned yams, place them in a large mixing bowl, and mash until smooth.
- Add melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
- Incorporate eggs, milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg; stir until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Top with mini marshmallows or pecans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
