  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Dice chicken into bite-sized pieces and finely chop onions, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Sauté the Aromatics: Melt butter in a skillet, sauté onions until translucent, then add garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Brown the Chicken: Add chicken to the skillet, sear until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the Spices: Stir in cumin, coriander, and garam masala; toast for about a minute.
  5. Incorporate Tomato Puree: Pour in tomato puree and mix well.
  6. Simmer with Coconut Milk: Slowly pour in coconut milk and allow it to simmer for 20 minutes.
  7. Taste and Adjust: Season with salt and pepper; garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
  8. Serve: Enjoy with steamed basmati rice or warm naan.

Notes
