- 1 tbsp butter

Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Dice chicken into bite-sized pieces and finely chop onions, garlic, and ginger.
- Sauté the Aromatics: Melt butter in a skillet, sauté onions until translucent, then add garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Brown the Chicken: Add chicken to the skillet, sear until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the Spices: Stir in cumin, coriander, and garam masala; toast for about a minute.
- Incorporate Tomato Puree: Pour in tomato puree and mix well.
- Simmer with Coconut Milk: Slowly pour in coconut milk and allow it to simmer for 20 minutes.
- Taste and Adjust: Season with salt and pepper; garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
- Serve: Enjoy with steamed basmati rice or warm naan.
Notes
You can substitute chicken with chickpeas or tofu for a vegetarian version. Use almond or cashew milk for a non-dairy option.
