- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk or cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish by greasing it or lining with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth out the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely before frosting.
- For the frosting, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar and milk until smooth and fluffy. Spread over the cooled brownies.
- Cut into squares and serve.
