  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk or cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish by greasing it or lining with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth out the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool completely before frosting.
  9. For the frosting, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar and milk until smooth and fluffy. Spread over the cooled brownies.
  10. Cut into squares and serve.
