Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Dice your fresh tomatoes and sprinkle them lightly with salt, letting them sit to enhance flavor.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and olive oil until smooth. Add sour cream if desired.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and chopped basil.
  5. Fold in diced tomatoes and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, spread evenly, and top with remaining mozzarella and a drizzle of olive oil.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and lightly browned.
