- 1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 3 egg whites
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Green food coloring

Instructions
- Prepare the Egg Whites: Separate the egg whites and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Make the Macaron Shells: Sift together almond flour and powdered sugar. Whip egg whites until frothy, gradually adding granulated sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold in dry ingredients and add food coloring.
- Pipe the Shells: Pipe small tree shapes onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Rest the Shells: Let sit at room temperature for 30-60 minutes until tops are dry.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and bake for 15-18 minutes.
- Prepare the Filling: Cream butter until light and fluffy, mix in powdered sugar, vanilla and peppermint extract.
- Assemble the Macarons: Once shells are cool, pipe filling onto half and sandwich with other half.
- Decorate: Drizzle melted white chocolate and sprinkle with festive decorations.
