Description

Delightful and colorful cake mix cookies perfect for sharing on Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla or red velvet cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 cup colorful M&M’s or chocolate chips
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
  3. Fold in your choice of mix-ins, reserving some for topping later.
  4. Scoop the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each scoop.
  5. Top each cookie with reserved mix-ins.
  6. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until edges are golden.
  7. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For softer cookies, add a slice of bread to the container.
