- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a medium saucepan, combine water and butter; bring to a boil.
- Add flour all at once and stir vigorously until a ball forms and pulls away from sides.
- Remove from heat and cool for about 5 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly until glossy.
- Use a piping bag to pipe rounds onto a lined baking sheet, or dollop with a spoon.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and firm to touch.
- While cooling, whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form; fold in strawberries.
- Slice each puff in half, fill with cream-strawberry mixture, and dust with powdered sugar.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
