Description

Delicate pastries filled with rich whipped cream and fresh strawberries, perfect for summer celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a medium saucepan, combine water and butter; bring to a boil.
  2. Add flour all at once and stir vigorously until a ball forms and pulls away from sides.
  3. Remove from heat and cool for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly until glossy.
  5. Use a piping bag to pipe rounds onto a lined baking sheet, or dollop with a spoon.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and firm to touch.
  7. While cooling, whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form; fold in strawberries.
  8. Slice each puff in half, fill with cream-strawberry mixture, and dust with powdered sugar.
  9. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
