Description

A delightful dish featuring succulently seared shrimp infused with garlic and fresh herbs, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley and chives (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels to prevent steaming.
  2. Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Flip the shrimp and cook for an additional minute, then squeeze lemon juice and add fresh herbs.
  6. Transfer the shrimp to a serving platter and garnish with extra herbs.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the pan to achieve the best sear on the shrimp. Serve warm with a side salad or over rice.
