Description

A flavorful and cozy dish featuring fresh salmon coated in a luxurious miso butter glaze, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 3 tablespoons miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and cover a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the miso paste, melted butter, honey, and minced garlic until smooth.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the baking sheet, squeeze fresh lemon juice over them, and coat with the miso butter glaze.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  5. For a crispy top, broil for 1-2 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds and serve immediately.

Notes

Fresh salmon is optimal, but trout or cod can be used as substitutes. For a lighter option, olive oil can replace the butter.
