Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh flat-leaf parsley (chopped)
- Fresh lemon juice (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Toss the shrimp into the skillet to coat them in the garlic butter mixture.
- Spread the coated shrimp evenly in a single layer in a baking dish.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan and chopped parsley over the shrimp.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
- Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.
Notes
For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a hint of white wine to the garlic butter mixture. Avoid overcooking the shrimp for best results.
