Description

A delightful, buttery dish featuring succulent shrimp sautéed in garlic and finished with Parmesan cheese, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh flat-leaf parsley (chopped)
  • Fresh lemon juice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Toss the shrimp into the skillet to coat them in the garlic butter mixture.
  5. Spread the coated shrimp evenly in a single layer in a baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan and chopped parsley over the shrimp.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
  8. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a hint of white wine to the garlic butter mixture. Avoid overcooking the shrimp for best results.
